How to Watch Luton Town vs. Aston Villa: Stream Premier League Live, TV Channel

Champions League qualification hopeful Aston Villa travels to Luton hoping to solidify itself at fourth in the Premier League table.

Much has changed since Luton Town was last a top-flight force to be reckoned with, but the Hatters host Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday looking to restore their former relentless streak in this fixture. To be specific, Luton hasn’t lost at home to the Villans on the last three occasions they’ve met just north of London, a streak that stretches back as far as 1989. Maintaining that run will be easier said than done, however, particularly just as Unai Emery’s men appear to have discovered some momentum and snagged victory in each of their last two outings.

Villa will look to make that three in a row when it visits Kenilworth Road in Week 27, whyere Champions League qualification is once again back on the cards for the team sat fourth in the table.

Manchester United’s shock defeat at home to Fulham coupled with Tottenham’s 2-1 loss at home to Wolves has given Villa some valuable breathing room for the time being, albeit having played one game more than Spurs.

That being said, a five-point buffer means the Birmingham club can afford one loss and still remain fourth fourth—but Luton will be out to rain on that parade, to say the least.

Few expected prior to this season that Rob Edwards’ side could be the one of the three promoted teams looking most likely to keep its Premier League status for next term.

The Hatters are 18th for the time being and four points shy of safety, though Luton has played one game fewer than Nottingham Forest directly above.

The same issues are plaguing Emery’s selection ahead of Saturday’s trip, with Diego Carlos and Tyrone ming each missing in central defense and Emiliano Buendia a missed figure in midfield.

However, the defensive duo of Pau Torres and Ezri Konsa are nearing returns to full fitness in a boost for the coach.

Luton, meanwhile, remains without captain Tom Lockyer following his cardiac arrest earlier this season, though Elijah Adebayo, Jacob Brown and Amari’i Bell are in contention to feature.

Regional restrictions may apply.
